Training is of particular relevance to those wishing to widen participation from among the most disadvantaged seniors.

There are 8 units in the self-study training programme:

  1. Getting started
  2. Participation and non-participation
  3. Disadvantage
  4. Getting to know learners
  5. Planning relevant learning
  6. Delivering engaging teaching

Units are freestanding so may be studied individually. Units may be used in any of the following ways:

  • As consolidation for group continuing professional development.
